Important note: Almost all plugin hosts are actually 32 bit hosts, even if it run on a 64 bit OS. See compatibility below for 64 bit hosts.

Installation (Windows)
As with any other 8bf file plugin, you have two options to install the plugin:
- Put the 8bf file into one of the folders were your plugin host look for plugins.
- Add the folder were you put the 8bf file to the ones that the plugin host look for plugins.

If you have version 2.49 or previous installed, remove the XiGrayDither.8bf file from where you put it

On some programs like XnView or IrfanView, the application don't send selections(masks) to the plugin.
If you test it on other applications and/or versions, please let us know if it works.
Installation (Mac OS X)
The plugins are distributed as dmg files which contain the plugin.
- Download the dmg file
- Mount the .dmg file, double clicking it. You will see the plugin inside.
- Copy the plugin to your disk. There are two options:
- A.- Copy the plugin to /Applications/Ximagic (you must create it before if it doesn't exists) and configure your image editor to look for plugins in /Applications/Ximagic.
- B.- Copy the plugin to the plugins folder of your image editor. For instance:
- Photoshop CS5 : /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS5/Plug-ins/Filters/
- Photoshop Elements 10: /Applications/Support Files/Plug-ins/Filters/
- Eject the dmg file
